Mia Gardner is a young woman living in New Summit, a typical small town. She owns a clothing store. And her life's a mess! Everything seems to be falling apart around her except her business. Her landlord, George Bollington, is certainly not helping with that. Bollington used to be the only psychiatrist in town until sex therapists Benjamin Long and Landon West moved to New Summit from Manhattan. And he's been trying to drive the two therapists out of town ever since they arrived. Why? Sure Bollington is a self-proclaimed "family values" man but that can't be the only reason he wants them gone, can it? Is there some deeper motive at play here?Mia's problems finally make her decide to seek therapy. But she certainly can't go see her landlord, not about this! She makes an appointment for a consultation to see Ben and Landon. While there, she discovers things about herself that she never suspected. Frightened and confused, she bolts from their office and vows never to return. As Mia and her best friend, Cassie, go for a night out at The Merry Cockatoo, the local bar, they have no idea what awaits them. Ben and Landon walk in and spot the women just in time to save them. But from what? And how do they deal with the spark, the chemistry, that they felt when they first met Mia in their office? Mia's lonely and inexperienced. Ben and Landon are sex therapists. Surely nothing can happen here, right? Professional ethics? Well, Mia was never truly a client, was she? She only saw the men for a free consultation and never went back. Two men, one woman, a very small town, what could go wrong? Maybe anything and everything possible? When events collide and turn everyone's lives upside down, what will be the ultimate price that everyone will have to pay? This isn't just about Mia, Ben, and Landon. There are outside forces in play, and nothing is certain. In the end, can anything stop the people determined to destroy the happiness of so very many people?Tara Crescent is a relatively new author for me, and I absolutely loved this book! I'm very well acquainted with small town life and all the positives and negatives of that experience. Ms. Crescent captures the small town experience in exacting detail and with great realism. The character development is extraordinary. I loved the relationships between all the characters, but particularly that of the main characters. There's mystery around every corner, and uncertainty with every move each character in this story makes. This is not a predictable book at all. Just when I thought I knew what was coming next, I was totally thrown off course. Reading this book was like a thrill ride, and I loved every single second of it. Tara Crescent has very quickly become another of my favorite authors. Dirty Therapy is an erotic romance that is fast-paced, engaging, thrilling, and captivating to the very last page. I literally couldn't put my Kindle down. I give Dirty Therapy my highest recommendation, and can't wait to begin the next book in the series. Thank you, Tara Crescent, for giving us such a wonderful reading experience that demonstrates your true talent as an author! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. USE THESE RESOURCES. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
Rating: 3/5Heat Rating: 4/5I really liked this story! The plot was good and enjoyable as were the characters. Ben and Landon were great guys and Mia was very likable. Small towns can be a hoot and Crescent obviously wrote this story with all the gossipy and judgemental baloney that comes with them in mind. Plus some of the things the author wrote had me giggling in delight like the stuff Mia said while she was drunk. I loved the phrase that came out of her mouth! I think it might just be a new favorite of mine LOL.I would have given DIRTY THERAPY a four but there were a few things that bothered me. There were multiple of what I consider continuity errors in this novella. Let me give you an example. Mia told the guys a sexual fantasy while she was under hypnosis. Later on in the story when the fantasy was talked about it was stated as if Mia had told them that they were in the fantasy. That just wasn't so. She in no way was talking about them specifically. Another example is when Ben was behind her he was doing things that weren't possible in his position. IMO Crescent should have written a sentence about him kneeling down or some other similar action that made the positioning more realistic. Something else that bugged me is that there was no kissing until 55%. At that point there had been a few sexual interactions between the trio. Since this was an Erotic Romance that felt extremely off to me. The relationship may have been only sex at that point but it's not like it was a hookup between strangers where the people were avoiding the intimacy that comes with kissing.DIRTY THERAPY was the first of Crescent's stories that I've read and despite the few things I found wrong with it I'm definitely going to read more of her work. It was a fun and sexy read with believable and likable characters. I'm sure her other stories will be written in the same way and I can't wait to read some of them.
Dirty Therapy, is an insta-love story, with a plot that has a few twist and that is fast-paced. The chemistry between Landon, Ben, and Mia is off the charts, and the sex scenes are steaming hot! What did you expect from two sex therapists? They go and make Mia's each and every fantasy come true. Both men are dominant alpha males, who are romantic, caring and dirty as needed. Mia is a strong-willed woman who happens to be down due to the way her ex treated her, she soon though rediscovers herself.I enjoyed Tara's writing style, and I highly recommend this book.I voluntary reviewed a free advanced copy of this book.
The title struck my fancy, blurb made sure I downloaded and after reading I have to recommend this Contemporary Romance to anyone seeking an outstanding story. The storytelling is phenomenal, flows easy chapter to chapter, characters are easy to like and the sex scenes, wowzer!!Cassie, owner of Cassie's Coffee, her story "Dirty Talk" is next and I'm excited to read it. Her best friend Mia was the hot topic of "Dirty Therapy" along with Ben & Landon (great names btw), and they all got a happy ending! Mia's fantasies for spankings, alpha men taking charge and double the pleasure was hot & heavy. Mia, the good girl, the girl next door and woman nobody would ever suspect of having a wild streak behind closed doors. Cassie, open-minded, thinks nothing of having a one-night stand, likes to party and have a good time plus knows how to get the pleasures her mind & body need.I always leave reviews and will for "Dirty Talk" and the other books in the Dirty Series when I finish reading.
