I'm so glad I decided to pick up this ebook. I first learned about cryptocurrency about 5 years ago and it's reputation wasn't great among clear net users. Now, there are many more types of currency other than bitcoin and it is becoming more and more accepted as a method of payment. This book does a great job of running through where to buy it, how to be safe, how block chains work and how this technology is going to be reinventing the future. Definitely recommend you pick this up!

This leans more on the persuasive side and might be good as a companion to another book I reviewed recently. This book assumes you already have some idea what a blockchain is and wish to make a profit from the information it shares. Be warned not all advice is good advice. So use this put as an introductory guide and do your research! It also provides information about how to detect scammers, which is very helpful.

I have been looking a lot into bitcoin and blockchain, but I honestly have been very confused about it all. I came across this book that has really helped me clear up a lot of questions I had. The book went into the history of it all, and explained it all in a more simple way than Iâ€™ve read in the past. Great read and very informative!

I have done some research on cryptocurrencies prior to this book, but I learned a lot more about how it all works. White explains the history of this technology, exactly how Blockchain works, and how it can be used in other scenarios.White talks about potential safety concerns with Blockchain technology and what will need to be done to fight against hackers and scammers. He does a good job sharing with how you should handle buying cryptocurrencies without being a victim of a scam. He also talks about the protocols that will need to be put in place to keep attacks from happening.I found it to be interesting in the last chapter where he goes over the complex implementation of Blockchain. There are many different things that will need to be considered. He discusses laws, regulations, and so much more.

I am so happy that I bought this book! There was so much for me to learn about the different types of cryptocurrency and this book has really cleared it up for me. I would still be lost if it had not been for this book! Great read!

Wow! More than simpky delving into describing cryptocurrency, it actually provided much needed foundation about the bitcoin revolution. I found the reading flowing logically and so clear for me to understand. Thanks so much!!

I got excited by the breadth of advertised material, which seemed to cover all I wanted to learn about. I have played through each song and love them all. The music arrangements present mild challenges that sound great for my skill level. They are fun to play, and my husband enjoys listening to this upbeat music. It is a nice retreat away from other genres of music. I would recommend this book to anyone who is past the beginner level and wants a fun challenge.

I played this when I was younger and it is absolutely fantastic. The one I have is pretty worn out after 20 years so decided to get a new one. The one I have has loose pages and no cover so for me it's so worth it to have a fresh copy.

I teach piano and these arrangements are so cute and teach syncopation. They are all original. Every song is cute.

I have many of these Jazz/Rags/and Blues books. I play at an early to intermediate level. I especially like book 2. Very catchy songs.

great songs for the late beginner to early intermediate pianist. I teach piano and use these with my students to help them vary their ability and repertoire. I love them!

Excellent. Songs cover a wide range within jazz, rags, and blues. They are enjoyable to play and to hear.

I highly recommend the book for those who are new to jazz, rags and blues. The pieces are easy and fun.

Martha Mier is a student saver... My piano students just love her compositions. Such fun. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful cookbook and idea. Babies, toddlers and children establish their eating habits at a very early age. Why not expose them to the whole world of culinary delights and all the great ingredients and tastes? WHAT A GOOD EATER is a special book. The photos of the dishes are so well done I almost ate a page. As you work your way from the baby menu to the more mature offerings, you start to realize that you can prepare dishes that you can share with your baby. This merge of Italian and India cultures will help your offspring learn a more complete palette of tastes, spices and flavors. If the goal was to shape the future tongues away from fast food and less nutrition based trash, then I give this book five stars.

Gorgeous pictures, easy-to-follow recipes, and drool-worthy flavor combinations. I wish I'd had this book when my kids were little. Maybe they wouldn't be so dang picky now. I'm giving this as my new standard shower gift with the note: "It's too late for me--but save yourself!"

I love to cook and this cook book fits me perfectly and I use it and will continue to use it for years to come.I have a picky 3 year old and we are trying for the second one so I know this comes in handy when feeding kids these days.The fact that there are recipes from multiple cuisines from around the world makes this an even more fun book to cook from. I want my kids to be worldly eaters and the various recipes from around the world makes that vision come true.Will cherish this for years to come.

We have a very picky 2-year old, and almost immediately, this book transformed our world: more smiles, fewer tantrums, and less guilt about giving him unhealthy foods out of convenience. The food pics are beautiful and inspiring. Can't wait to try the rest of the recipes.

I bought this book to give as a gift to my sister-in-law who is expecting a new baby. I wish I had this book when my kids were small! But there are still many great recipes for older kids/adults alike. I love the recipe combinations with many herbs, all look so delicious, can't wait to try them out! I bought this as a gift the recipient. Called me gushing about it. He was a very happy person.

Keep in mind that this is Emeril's NEW new orleans cooking, and as such the recipes are definitely not the typical fare. There's only one recipe for gumbo, for instance. While this is a good companion guide to other N.O. cookbooks, I couldn't recommend this to a beginner in the field. If you're looking for classic new orleans cusine, try La Bouche Creole by Leon E. Soniat

I opened my package and found an autographed copy of the book! Totally unexpected bonus. I haven't used the book yet, but since it is from the era just before Essence of Emeril, I'm sure it is good. I got it with Paul Prudhomme's book for a nice take on New Orleans cuisine. I took a basic class on creole and Cajun cooking techniques - now it's time to try out some recipes

This was given to me and i replaced it . Great recipes from another older book

This is not a New Orleans cookbook. You will not learn how to cook local food. This is amost all overdone, 'fusion' restaurant food. Get the Richard Collins New Orleans Cookbook if your really want to know about and reproduce local food. This is a groupie book. Wasted money.

My family has been using this cookbook for years and I've finally bought a copy for myself. Everything we've tried has been delicious. The only downside is that many of the recipes are a little too involved to make without planning ahead and getting some special ingredients.

Wish was written in Python 3 instead of 2

Good book, but I wish it had options for current release of python.

You will love this book, especially if you already have some programming knowledge. You'll have some fun to play with and fully functioning tools written by you by the end of chapter 2.

Some really, fundamentally good python in this book. It's about really thinking out of the box with python, and as a learning tool, it's fun, as a reference, it's on my shelf. The author knows his OSINT really well, and this is a part of the field, so it is also valuable for those in the field, and those who are curious about the dynamics of network programming, not a "how to commit a felony" book. Sure, an evil guy could make a payload, but really?The book was a great learning tool and a lot of fun in exploring python and security issues in general.

Good book filled with tons of useful info. My only issue is that a lot of the code does not work. I've spent a lot of time making tweaks to get these applications to work correctly. That could just be to the way code behaves in diverse environments, but it was pretty frustrating. Prepare to learn a lot, but most of the learning will come from going over and over the code to fix it.

Finally found the book to review it. I read it in one sitting. Crafty Nichole does it again!Just for the benefit of those folks who read this review and aren't familiar with the Diary of an Angry Alex series: You had best start with Book 1 and follow the story along. Trust me, it's not hard to get hooked on it. The story focuses on Alex, one of the two default skins/characters in Minecraft. The other, Steve, is Alex's companion in the story. But they don't really get along. Well, just enough to deal with a villain like in this one!Each of the Diary of an Angry Alex is its own adventure. Like Alex plotting to kill Steve, Alex being mad at the villagers, and Alex and Steve meeting an evil Steve clone. Book 6 of the series finds Alex and Steve hiding in a village that they'd help build in a previous story. The village is under-attack by the "anti-Steve" (Herobrine) who's bent on destroying everything, it seems. All the stories are told from Alex's point of view. While both Alex and Steve want to get rid of the bad guy, Alex has mixed feelings about Steve and has often thought of getting rid of him as well. However, Alex is not a bad person at heart; it's just that Steve is really annoying from her point of view.I encourage you to read these stories! They are very funny, and Alex is a likable character despite her flaws and epic failures. Steve is an annoying twerp seen through her eyes, but we know he isn't a bad guy either. Aside from the characters, what will really capture Minecraft fans is how the author skillfully incorporates elements of the game into the story. It will really make you laugh. It's brilliant.I have no suggestions other than Alex - who started out as a novice miner and fighter in Book 1 - should grow more experienced and skillful in later stories. Now I wonder, will there be an "Alex vs. Steve" in the future? :)

Before I begin, I will like to say that this is my FAVORITE Crafty Nicole series.In this exciting chapter of Diary of an Angry Alex, Alex and Steve are trapped in a village that is under siege by Herobrine. They mine their way out to try to escape. After many failed attemps they finally seek shelter in a Ocean Monument. What will happen to them in side the Monument? Will Herobrine find Alex and her companion?Sorry for any spoils, I hope I didn't give away too much.This is (in my opinion) the best series for Crafty Nicole. I like how she puts reviewers in her books a the end. I've seen W. shi "JENN", Power, and Astrocat, which are at the top of my list when it comes to reviewers. (P.S. I hope you three like the compliment) I've read most of your book Nicole and my favorites are: Diary of a minecraft griever, diary of a grumpy villager, and this one.Soâ€¦Yeah, this is my first review for a Crafty Nichole book (partly because you write so fast and so much. OMS this series is great! Alex fails at life, Steve can fall into a hole, what could be better? And! Yes, there's more. And! And and and! The WHOLE THING, you hear me? THE WHOLE THING IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!! There's just one teensy weensy problem.........They are FAR too short! I read fast, but they are still very small. I wish they could make a box set of them all. Now, this book is about Alex and Steve trapped in a city, and Alex's idea on building an army of iron golems didn't work. Herobrine attacks the village with a wither, and an army of spiders. I'm really sorry if I spoiled any parts of the story for you.

Swedish artist Simon StÃ¥lenhag burst onto the art scene in 2013 when his first series of paintings were shared on the Internet, and has since become something of a phenomena in the art and sci-fi communities. StÃ¥lenhag's work intentionally works on the level of nostalgia; as '80s kids start reaching their middle age, they reminisce about the vibrancy of their early years where everything was bright and full of adventure but the planet still seemed to be falling apart thanks to end of industrialization in the West. The truly clever conceit here is that the super-science of the Loop creates an entirely false nostalgia for robots and space-bending portals that never were, which highlights that all our nostalgias are for a past as we've chosen to remember it, not the past that actually was. If we look back honestly, as the fictional narrator does, we can now recognize that tragedies large and small surrounded us that we were isolated from--/this/ neighbor disappeared, everyone stopped talking about /that/ family--and so barely registered on our conscious minds. Even today in the real world we shy away from explicit recognition of these realizations, preferring to concentrate on the toys and the games that seemed to promise so much.Or the robots.Their loss--and, perhaps more tellingly, the loss of what they promised as we grew into the world we know now--is still felt.

I agree with the other reviewers about the incredible artwork in this book, but the game itself it equally amazing. This has to be one of the best gateway role playing games for beginners, yet still very engaging for more experienced gamers. Other than this book, it only requires some paper, pencils, some standard six sided dice, and a few friends.The theme has a 'Stranger Things', 'Goonies', 'Scooby-Doo' sort of vibe that young and older players can both find relatable. The players take on the roles of a group of young kids, based on standard ('Breakfast Club') stereotypes (ex. Jock, Bookworm, Weirdo), in order to solve a mystery.Creating these kids is quick and easy, taking about five minutes per player. It involves players answering a series of questions about the kids, their families, and their relationships with each other. Each player also chooses an iconic item (ex. Skateboard or Boombox) that gives their kid special abilities, and an 'anchor' or role model who serves as a healing mechanic in the game. The players also agree upon a hideout, which is a completely safe zone unless the players create trouble themselves.The mechanics of the game are easy and very light on math. Any roll of a six is a success, with difficulty adjusted by adding or subtracting dice. Damage is replaced by 'conditions' (ex. Angry or Exhausted), which reduce the number of dice a player can roll. The kids cannot die, but they can suffer so many 'conditions' that they automatically fail every roll until they visit their 'anchor' (mentor). The system is easy to understand and is perfect for someone looking to run an RPG for the first time.The book is written very clearly and is well organized for quick reference. It also includes four mysteries that can be run together as a complete campaign. As with the rest of the book, they written and organized well, requiring minimal preparation for any Game Master to jump right in and play.I have had a great deal of success with this game and people who would normally never play a tabletop RPG. It seems like the concept of becoming a child again for one evening draws them in, then the elegance and simplicity of the system wins them over. I have been a game master since the 80's (ironically enough) and I have used a lot of different RPG systems. This product is superior in every way to any RPG book I have ever read, as well as the most accessible and user friendly RPG available for non-gamers.

I'm so impressed by digital painting and all of the futuristic landscapes and cityscapes people create, but I've never found an artist as thorough and enveloped in his own imagination as to create a metaverse like this. There's continuity to his world and painting. There's social commentary, depth, narrative illustrated in every piece and he even writes a story to give each painting context. To the degree he's created the gritty details of how some hovering agricultural machinery is broken out in its technology and naming everything, he really sits on a gold mine of narrative to produce a game or movie/series from.I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a bigger collection of futuristic art pieces so deep and so well painted that any person can appreciate the scenes presented.I've shown this to elderly people who know nothing of futuristic worlds/concepts/technology and have seen an amazing level of excitement and vitality injected into their imagination. The quality of his traditional painting skills adds to this effect.

I first came across StÃ¥lenhagâ€™s art through IMGUR. Several months later it then reappeared on my Pinterest feed and from that moment onward I was hooked. Go figure of course that it would be another year before I found out that StÃ¥lenhag managed to get his artwork published and made into this amazing collection. Who would have thought that there was a storyline to accompany the artâ€¦as if we needed words amongst such exquisite paintings, but go figure the story hooks youâ€¦almost more so. Regardless if you make this purchase for the story or art; just buy the book! Each page is a snapshot into an alternate Earth where technology after the Second World War took a breathtaking and terrifying turn. We of course (as the reader) can only view of snippet of this world through the eyes of a young boy growing up among all these technological wonder (specifically during the 1980â€™s)â€¦itâ€™s all truly amazing.

The images of a future non future should scare the heck out off any passionate robotics believer. Simon's work is a futuristic tour de force made even more believable set inside daily country life with inimitable Saabs and Volvos trundling around in the background. The joy of this type of sci fi art is it has to be totally believable ( unlike our think tanks ) and he succeeds in spades.
